Frequently asked questions...
Please contact us if we can provide any more information
What is a dog walking field?
Our dog walking meadow is a purpose built fenced grass meadow for exercising or training dogs.
The meadow is secured with high quality 6ft skirted fencing and gates which means you can exercise your dogs with peace of mind, knowing they can't get out and nobody else can get in!
The meadow has a pond which is fenced off for optional use and lots of toys for your four legged friends to get involved with.
Poo bins and bags are provided and we ask that you clean up after your dog to ensure continued enjoyment for everyone!
How do I gain access to the meadow & where do I park?
Booking is strictly through this website- you will be sent the code to access the field via email on receipt of payment.
When you arrive you will see the parking within the secure site. Please do not enter the meadow until the previous customers have left. If you arrive early, there is an overflow/waiting area opposite the gateway to the meadow.
Once parked you will be able to access the meadow via the pedestrian gate using the code in your booking confirmation email.
Please ensure you lock the gate on your way out.
What type of fencing do you have?
We've gone to town at Great Ellingham Dog Meadow to ensure it is a secure as possible! We have used specialist 6ft dog field fencing with a skirt attachment to ensure no cheeky pup can dig their way out!
The gauge holes measure 5cm x 10cm so its even teacup size dog safe!
Please do not allow your dog from dig in order to keep the meadow as secure as possible- thank you!
Can I cancel a booking?
You can cancel or amend your booking up to 6 hours before your slot.
If you cancel before the 6 hour cut off you will receive a full refund, within the 6 hour period you will incur the full cost.
I want to hold a class at the meadow- how big is the car park?
Our secure car park has space for 8 cars to park if you park sensibly. We also have an overflow/waiting area opposite the entrance to the car park which customers can use if they are in larger groups. You would just need to bring a lead to ensure your dog gets from the car to the meadow safely.
Does my dog have to be vaccinated?
For the enjoyment of all and to ensure everyone stays happy and healthy we ask that all dogs that come to the meadow are fully vaccinated or have Primary DHP vaccinated and undergo annual titre testing.
If your dog is unwell we ask that you amend your booking and bring them when they are better, just to avoid spreading bugs to other dogs.
Is there a limit on how many dogs can attend the meadow?
We don't have an official limit on how many dogs can attend the field. The use of the meadow is at the customers own risk. Any dog attending the meadow is under your custody and control. We ask that our customers use common sense and have a sensible number of pooches per human so that dogs are kept under control and poo patrol is easier!
Please ensure that all dogs coming in groups have socialised harmoniously together before booking the meadow.
